About Bajaj Invest

Legacy. Vision. Enduring prosperity.

Established as the dedicated investment arm of the Bajaj Family, we manage and grow family capital through disciplined, high-conviction investments — building on a century of industrial leadership.

Our mission

To identify exceptional businesses, invest substantial capital, and work collaboratively with management to create world-class enterprises that deliver superior returns while contributing to India's economic future.

We go beyond traditional investing. We partner — actively, patiently, and at scale — with portfolio companies to drive sustainable growth and operational transformation. Each engagement is a multi-decade commitment, never a transaction.

Our vision

A statement set down by the family, intended to outlast every individual signatory and every market cycle.

To be regarded, a century from now, as one of the most trusted stewards of private capital in the world — a quiet institution where patience compounds into permanence, where integrity outweighs ambition, and where every rupee deployed builds something the next generation of the Bajaj Family is proud to inherit.

Permanence

We capitalise enterprises that should still matter in 2125 — not in 2030.

Discretion

Reputation is earned by what we decline as much as by what we back.

Alignment

Family capital, family conviction, family time horizon — no external pressure, ever.

Sustainable Value

Returns measured in institutions built, not exits booked.

Frequently asked

Questions about our family office

What is a single family office?
A single family office manages the capital, investments and governance of one family. Bajaj Invest serves only the Bajaj Family and does not manage money for any external investor.
Where is Bajaj Invest based in India?
Our headquarters are in Mumbai, with further presence in Hyderabad and New Delhi, and a UK AIFM-registered investment vehicle in London.
What is the minimum investment size?
We deploy large-ticket capital, typically US$50 million or more per transaction, into established companies and focused funds.
Does Bajaj Invest accept external capital?
No. The fund is closed to external capital. We invest exclusively family capital and do not solicit or accept outside investors.
What does full-scope UK AIFM registration mean?
Our investment vehicle is authorised under the United Kingdom's full-scope Alternative Investment Fund Manager regime, which requires independent depositary oversight, rigorous reporting and formal governance standards.
